I was thinking of the writing in Arabic or something floating along with the music. I like what Susan said about the notes. Trying an abstract was a great idea. Seems like you had fun.

This painting had me looking at it for quite a while. At first I thought of it as the reflections of something red in water, but then some of the red bits were "standing up" against the direction of the water, so made me look harder at them. I had the thought of them being like notes on a page of music. Maybe I was influenced by seeing your title, The Sound Of Art. I'll bet it was exhilarating to paint this!

Thank you, Joanna - these colors were very difficult to photograph, so it's not quite the right colors. Not sure I will do any more abstracts, but it was fun to try.
