At first I thought of it as the reflections of something red in water, but then some of the red bits were "standing up" against the direction of the water, so made me look harder at them. I had the thought of them being like notes on a page of music. Maybe I was influenced by seeing your title, The Sound Of Art. I'll bet it was exhilarating to paint this! This painting had me looking at it for quite a while.
