Uncle Bob - Thank you for looking at my work - we have always felt blessed to have you for our uncle also. I hope we all honor the "gifts of creation about us", as you stated so well, by moderating our use of the resources we have been given and giving more thought to conservation.

There are several levels of gratitude that fill my heart. Seeing these beautiful pictures you have created has opened my eyes to the depth of your love for life, for the gifts of creation about you, and for all of humanity. What a special blessing it is for me to claim 'uncle' status to you and your other wonderful siblings.

Thank you, Jo. I did this a while back, in pastel pencils. It is quite dark, but there's something I like about it.
Wow - you have really been recycling with your Bolivian /Peruvian bags! I keep mine in my car - now if I can just remember to take them in the store...

Hi Regina, This is great. Pastels right? I like it on the black paper.

You are so right about recycling and paying attention to our surroundings. This post reminded me about some bags we have. We have two nylon/plastic/string bags from Bolivia and Peru that have been used since 1994 or so. We always carry our snacks for trips in them. I used them for packing stuff for receptions and groceries so they are well used!
