An hour here, an hour there…..
This time of year, my work keeps me tied to the computer about twelve hours a day. But once every few days, I just chuck it all and go to my studio for an hour or so. It helps my brain and my frame of mind too.

This is wonderful. Those stolen hours sure pay off well!
And here I am with lots of time and hardly painting. Ran into Joan B. today from Bastrop and we will paint on Wednesday a.m. Maybe that will get me jump started!

I’m sure it will, Jo – and we need to schedule a lot more painting time together when you get back!!

Wow! This is like one of those paintings you get on a ceiling in one of the Italian churches – a real celestial sky! It’s beautiful.
I have just bought myself a small box of watercolours. I live in a very beautiful spot in the english countryside and would love to do some water colours of the woodlands and river.
Have never painted before but thought it would be fun to try! I shall let you know how I get on.
Smiles and blessings.

Juliana – Thank you very much – I always paint clouds from my own photos (they stand still for me that way), and I loved this sky. Good luck to you on the watercolors – they are beautiful but not very forgiving, in my experience. I’ll check in on you to see how you’re doing!
