Day 06 – Iron Bird: Funky Chicken

Actually a rooster, but he’s kind of funky from some perspectives.

My friend, Jo Castillo, sketches in ink. Only in ink. Way too much pressure. So irrevocable. I will generally draw in pencil until I get it like I want it, then draw it in ink. But I thought, what the heck, and attempted to capture this little guy (about 2 1/2 inches high) in ink. Ever fearless.

My anti spam word was “broad”. Hmmm, what kind of a hint is that? Broad as in weight, subjects, old gal?

Thanks for the link. Your post made me smile. You can out sketch me any day. I sketch in pen to get finished quickly! I can not do anything over again. Ha. Hugs….

Now my word was “micro”. The size of my brain as regard to memory. I forgot to say how much I liked your rooster sketch. Very nice work.

Jo – I always wish life had an “undo” button, so definitely keep my kneaded eraser on hand.. :-)
Thank you for the complement, too. I want to try a pastel rooster soon.
