My new, temporary studio space and the start of a new painting

August 19th, 2012 · 3 Comments

It’s been several months since I could paint, with selling our house and packing and moving. We’re now renting a home until we move into our new place, but I finally was able to unpack my beautiful pastels and just look at all of them. I even splurged and bought a box of Nupastels yesterday at Cheap Joe’s!

And the start of a new painting – from a photo I took on Friday morning, lovely start to the day with the sun coming through the trees out back!

Moving into a new home is usually pretty exciting! I’m sure you will have fun decorating. You get some great daylight through that window it seems, would make a great studio spot!

We have one more move, Vanessa – we’re renting month to month, but are supposed to close on our new little house on our 31st anniversary, later this month. THEN I’ll get excited – I do love all the possibilities on a new place. Thanks for the encouragement!

Regina, will you be attending the 10th IAPS convention next year?
