I started the painting below about a week and a half ago, and this is my progress on it. I like to work on several paintings at once, and that helps me to see them more objectively as I come back to them again.
The painting below is one I started several months ago, of the underside of a magnolia tree in our front yard. The more I looked at it, the more I wanted to try completing it as an abstract. I will let it cure for a while before I decide if there is more to be done. This is my second abstract. Ever.
The first abstract, many years ago, was one I liked, and my dog did too. That was about it.
